BASING BAYSWATER
MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE // THESIS PROJECT
"Basing Bayswater" is a creative concept borne from a passion to see a growing city filled with urban potential to become a leading architectural innovation model for the Perth metropolitan and beyond. The research objective was to conduct an analysis of the City of Bayswater and create an intergenerational interface with ‘open-ended’ learning spaces and community, essentially becoming an integrated community incorporating the surrounding local facilities.

"HOUSE OF MEMORY"
MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE // URBAN STUDIO
This research presents the hypothesis that the city of Rome with its current north and south of the river Tiber power dynamics, growing congestion, inefficient connectivity, and layout can be transformed into a sustainable modern European city using a combination of traditional and modern-day architectural best practice methods.

KAYANA GALLERY
MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE // COMPLEX STUDIO
The design for the redevelopment of the Dumbartung Kayana Gallery and Keeping Rooms at the Dumbartung Aboriginal Corporation was conceptualised through analysis of the macro and micro spaces and its relational significance with the river and site. The embedding of Aboriginal history, traditions, and culture within the built form and it’s surrounding natural environment is therefore fundamental to the design. This design aims to capture unique experiences for the user of the space, but it will also consider the ease of integration in relation to the gallery and exhibition space, formal and informal education spaces as well as nurturing community awareness of Aboriginal culture and history.

HORTICULTURAL GARDEN
MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE // INTEGRATED STUDIO
The concept is based on mapping vegetation and wind and conducting climate analysis as in the previous submissions. Moving forward from the research, the focus is on designing simple structures that can be undertaken by students and the faculty enabling them to learn through the process whilst also providing new pathways and gathering spaces around the site. The promotion of capacity building at a grass-roots level will facilitate increased knowledge and skills transfer; supporting local and regional business through the sourcing of local materials from the town of Esperance and the broader State of Western Australia.

"NURTURED BY NATURE"
BAppsc ARCHITECTURAL SCIENCE // THIRD YEAR STUDIO + METHODS
“Nurtured by nature” was based on the principle of a natural outdoor living experience within an inclusive community context. The aim was to ensure that the residents of Alfred Hines Camp Site would
integrate seamlessly into the wider local community of Rockingham, whilst benefiting from a tangible outdoor experience leading to personal inner healing and restoration.

eCUBE READING ROOM
BAppsc ARCHITECTURAL SCIENCEÂ // SECONDÂ YEAR STUDIO + METHODS
eCUBE was a group project in the tectonic making and conceptual construction at fullscale. In this project, we explored detailed material design and realisation at 1:1 scale. The group collaborated to develop and construct a detailed material expressionof a Full-Scale Mockup that was sited within the Curtin University Bentley campus. The group was structured into teams comprising Planning, Materials and Procurement (PMP), Design, Modellingand Engineering (DME) and Fabrication, Assembly and Building (FAB), each responsible for specific tasks.
